How to track SBI ATM Card Status Applied?

Question

Actually my ATM of SBI Card Was deteriorated. it was not in use. Then I call to SBI Customer care and I found 16 digit ticket no. I went with the no. to my branch and applied for the ATM. It has been more than 20 days. But the ATM has not been delivered to my home. What should I do? How should I track the status? Please guide me. The branch is far away from me right now. so frequent visit i find hard. I tried to call customer care but not succeeded.

Best option is to go branch and inquire because SBI has its own working culture. They will send ATM card but for ATM pin you will have to go branch. They do not tell the courier dispatch number.

Hi, Tushar. The answer is YES! But, it is not the way in which you think it works. While withdrawing money from SBI ATM you will be deducted 20 rupees as surcharge (not 50 as mentioned by some users). But, this amount 20 rupees which be debited back to your account by HDFC in 2 or 3 days. I am telling you this out of my own experience. I am a HDFC bank user and have been using SBI ATM near my house to with draw money.

I have went through similar situation and what I did was that I went to my branch, filled up a request form for issuing a fresh atm/debit card, got that request updated online right in front of me by the concerned person there.

That's it...

A couple of days, I called the SBI customer care @1800112211. I landed up talking up to the CCE and I after giving him my personal bank details, I asked for the status of my debit card request. He told me that your request has been received and processed and it has already been dispatched. He provided me the courier's agency name and the AWB No and said that the it would reach you in the next 6-7 days. I tracked it and got my debit card at the 6th day. After receiving it I went to my branch again to get my e_pin no...Itz sooooo simple :-)

these people they give half information i called up the costumer care they informed me that the card has been dispatched on june 3rd and it will take 8-10 days to reach you and they also gave me a tracking id and if i try to trck it , it shows consignment not found and if i aske the same in branch they say that the card has not been dispatched but the pin has been dispatched now i am in a state of confusion that which has dispatched and which has not... so this bank is very fast in introducing new ideas but very slow in implementing and getting used to those..

SBI is the worst Bank in entire India so my answer is to close the A/C and better go on for Axis of HDFC or for any private Bank.

Best place for your problem is the SBI branch. You have to go to the branch. That is all.

I HAVE APPLIED FOR ATM IN THE MONTH OF JAN14 AND RECEIVED THE MESSAGE ON 03FEB THAT MY CARD HAS BEEN DESPATCHED BUT BANK PEOPLE TELLING THAT THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE CARS WHERE AS POST OFFICE RECORD SHOWING THAT THE CARD WAS COLLECTED BY BANK STAFF .WHAT TO DO KINDLY HELP ME
